Police: Fake Web ads targeted rival  
 

12/2007 - A North Miami-Dade real estate agent was charged Wednesday with posting fake escort ads on the Internet using a rival's phone numbers, sparking hundreds of raunchy calls that nearly drove the woman to a nervous breakdown. Dean Isenberg, 40, was booked into Miami-Dade County Jail at 12:09 p.m. He posted $10,000 bond late Wednesday.

Department of Children & Families, Broward Sheriff’s Office under fire for alleged negligence in case of two minors physically/sexually abused  
 

10/2007 - According to a complaint filed with the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit for Broward County, the Department of Children and Families (DCF), and Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) were negligent in the case of two young girls removed from their mother’s custody and turned over to their father, after which they were allegedly physically and sexually abused by their father’s relatives with his knowledge.
